About the Author

Marie Drakulic is a homeschooling mother of four (ages 3-12) and a wife to her husband of almost 13 years.  At a very early age, she believed in Jesus and accepted His sacrifice for the forgiveness of her sins.  Since then, Christ has spent many years showing her what redemption really means.  In 2010, she graduated at the top of her class from The Ohio State University, and in 2012, her family moved to Erie, Pennsylvania (she remains forever a Buckeye) to help plant a church and begin a ministry there.

In February of 2015, their lives forever changed when their eldest was diagnosed with a brain tumor and high-risk brain cancer.  After almost a year of treatments, Austin is currently showing no signs of cancer, but the journey is on-going.  The Lord did many great and wonderful things this year and spoke volumes in the midst of crisis.  Much of what Marie writes is about the on-going lessons He is teaching her.

Some of Marie’s passions are leading women’s Bible studies (both locally and online) for the ladies ministry at their church (see their Facebook page:  https://www.facebook.com/latteladiesflagship/), reading (she’s a self-professed nerd), writing as a form of therapy (found here as well as on wonderfullywoven.com), enjoying a cup of coffee with a friend and spending time at her favorite place in the world, Presque Isle State Park!

“Let the words [that I write] and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O LORD, my rock and my redeemer” (Psalm 19:14).
