There’s been something on my mind for a couple weeks now. A friend of mine had mentioned a ministry opportunity that I didn’t even know existed. And now, well, the burden or dream or whatever you would call it just keeps getting bigger. (I can tell something has my attention when one of my children wakes me in the middle of the night and I stay up a little longer just to google “it.”)
But I’m also wondering. Am I brave enough to do this? To step out of my comfort zone? Do I have the courage to surrender? Is God really calling me to this?
Then I hear HIS voice:
Psalm 139:5 NLT
You go before me and follow me. You place your hand of blessing on my head.
Psalm 27:1 ESV
The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
It’s coming up on the end of the year and January, the season of resolutions, is just around the corner. Maybe you also feel a burden or a calling to something new (or to try again), but you are afraid — afraid of not having what it takes and failing, afraid of what it might cost you. Or maybe you are already living your story — a story that requires so much from you every.single.day. And you aren’t sure if you have the courage to keep going.
We just need to be brave enough — to take that next step, to say yes when we want to say no (or say no when our fears are driving us to say yes), to try again.
And so, I invite you to join us for our Winter Online Bible Study as we dig into God’s Word and what it means to live BRAVE ENOUGH.
